Knitting
Learn to knit, the basics to the complicated, if you can knit one, purl one you can do any pattern! We want to start with a simple project and progress from there....
We will introduce you to the world of knitting with fabric too, to be used in cement work later to be used in the garden for planters.... just saying.!
Crocheting
Learn to Crochet, simple rows, and then progress. You can do loads with the simple stitch. Again we will use this in the garden later too.....to make cement baskets.... something to look forward to.
Macrame
One of the oldest crafts about, but still popular, try your hand at this from making plant hangers to key rings, use macrame in jewellery making to curtain tie backs, just about anything goes.
Weaving
Weaving is another age old technique that's making a come back... you can use wool, fabric, t-shirt fabrics to do this or any ribbons, may materials can be incorporated here, depending on your design.
Locker Hooking
This is a less well know craft, but very versatile. This is very satisfying and again you can use many different kinds of materials. You can create from bags to placemats with this technique including bath mats.
