Blue Moo offers various courses and will be hosting more as time goes by. We only cater for small groups to keep attention focused on the group and to be able to provide individual help where needed. We also offer One-on-One courses at an hourly rate. If a course is fully booked then there will be a second course held soon there after, so be sure to book.
Pottery Painting
When : By Appointment - Just ring the studio to see if there is space or use the booking button below
Time : Any time the studio is open and no courses are running
Cost : Depending on the item you choose to paint - Ranges from R60 to R400
At the studio you can choose to paint with underglazes and have the item fired if you going to use it as a functional item like a coffee mug, or you can use acrylic paints and take it home the same day. Come and relax in the studio and let your imagination run wild, we have many resources to give you inspiration, and help is at hand. Teddy Bear Workshop
When : 3 dates available to book from, see below
1) November 20th and 21st (Wed and Thursday)
2) December 7th and 8th (Sat and Sunday)
3) December 10th and 11th (Tues and Wednesday)
Time : 10:00am to app 1pm each day (a total of 6-7h divided into 2 half days)
Cost : R500
A lovely morning with Di learning the art of making a Teddy Bear from scratch, the correct way ! This little bear is called Holly and is 25c Tall. This workshop is hand sewing and loads of fun, suits any beginner. All materials will be provided.
Beaded Christmas Bauble Workshop
When : 4 December 2024
Time : 10:30am to app 1pm
Cost : R170
Learn a new skill at bead weaving and make some personal Christmas Baubles to suite your theme this year. You will get a work sheet on how to make them so you can take it home and make more for your tree and some for your friends. These can be decorated in various ways too to zoot them up... Lots of fun to make !!! No skills required.
Christmas Stocking Sewing Workshop

Time : 10:30am - 12:30
Cost : R250, including all materials
Come and make a simple Christmas stocking for Santa to fill, give it away or keep it for yourself. Materials will be supplied, but if you have a special piece you would like to use please bring it along. Bring your sewing machine too.
One - on - One Sewing Lessons
When : Private booking depending on your diary.
Time : available studio times
Cost : R120 per hour
This will be a personal session with only yourself and me. You bring your sewing machine and what you would like to make and I will guide you through the process, alternatively if you a total beginner we start from scratch.
There are many different sewing forms to learn.
